Mega has a strong desire to work with the local community which has earned her experience and expertise for the past two decades of community facilitation and organizing skills in different contexts and settings across Indonesia.

Since 2017, Mega has worked with EMPATIKU to help returnees, deportees, and former ISIS-affiliated terrorist convicts in their social reintegration process. Currently, he is working with four local communities in Tangerang City and South Tangerang to develop community-based early warning systems to detect early warning signs of extremism ideology. He also worked for AMAN Indonesia to assist the community in peace activities in the post-conflict areas of Poso, Madura and Sampit for two periods (2007 – 2012 and 2018 – 2019).

In 2003 – 2006, she worked with Search for Common Ground Indonesia on women’s peace-building programs in Sampit and Madura and in the urban poor in Jakarta. For three years in 2000 – 2003, Mega has appointed the Chairperson of the Presidium Suara Ibu Cares for Women’s Economic Development.
